The front cover typefaces reflect the era(s) of each books setting.The mandala illustrations (back covers) are inspired by Buddhist Kalachakra ‘wheel of time’ sand paintings. Kalachakra is a term used specifically in Claire North’s novel. The detail within each repeating pattern draws directly from elements of each books narrative.
